Job title: M&E Project Engineer CRE

Our client, a leading rail provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&E Project Engineer to fulfil the role of Contractor Responsible Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and completion of M&E projects, ensuring they align with client specifications, industry regulations, and company standards. As a chartered engineer, the candidate will bring a wealth of experience to the role, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with project teams and clients to develop project plans, including scope, schedule and budget.
- Provide technical guidance during the design phase and recommend improvements.
- Lead the execution of M&E projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Manage project resources, including materials, equipment and personnel to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges and solutions.
Essential requirements:
- Significant, demonstrable CRE experience within the rail industry
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, codes and standards.
