Job title: Telecoms Site Supervisor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
An opportunity has opened for a qualified and experienced Telecoms Site Supervisor to work on major telecommunications schemes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment and infrastructure at various sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure the successful execution of telecom projects.
To be considered for the role, you will have significant experience operational telecoms experience, and have a strong understanding of the following systems: signal post telephones (SPT), PETS, GSM-R, level crossings and fixed telecoms network (FTN/FTN-X).
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee all telecoms projects, from inception to completion, within set deadlines.
- To manage all telecoms work delivered by your team.
- Review and deliver telecoms schemes with clear timescales.
- Oversee the full delivery of Operational Telecoms upgrade schemes.
Essential Requirements:
- COSS
- PTS
- Experience leading the delivery of telecoms schemes.
- High knowledge of telecoms rail systems
- Rail telecoms experience
