Job title: Tester in Charge
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
An opportunity to work for an industry-leading rail provider has become available for a skilled and experienced Tester in Charge. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate testing activities, ensuring the robustness, validity and reliability of rail telecommunications systems while managing a team of testers, executing test plans and adhering to industry regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and define testing objectives.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for rail telecommunications projects.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities, including signalling, train control, communication, and associated subsystems.
- Generate test reports detailing test results, issues identified and resolutions. Maintain accurate records.
- Implement quality assurances processes to ensure the reliability and performance of rail telecoms systems.
Essential requirements:
- Significant and proven experience in testing rail telecommunications systems.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations regarding to rail telecommunications.
